North Woods’ Chiabotti named top ten Mr. Football finalist

North Woods High School’s T.J. Chiabotti has been named a top ten Minnesota Football Coaches Association Mr. Football finalist.

Throughout the 2020 season the senior running back scored 29 touchdowns while rushing for over 2,100 yards. He became just the 19th athlete in the state to surpass the 5,000 yard mark.

Chiabotti helped the Grizzlies to a 7-3 overall record and Section 7A semifinal appearance.

The winner of the award will be announced at a banquet on December 5 at 10 a.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton Minneapolis Park Place Hotel.
