Police investigate suspicious death in Cloquet

The Cloquet Police Department says they are actively investigating a woman’s death last week.

According to a press release issued Monday, Marcy 7, the woman was found unresponsive at a home in the 900 block of Trettel Lane on Thursday, March 3, at about 7:24 a.m.

The Cloquet and Fond du Lac police departments, along with the Cloquet Fire District, had been dispatched to the home on a medical call.

"This is an open and active investigation as the death is being considered suspicious," the press release said.

The woman’s name and age have not yet been released. Police said the process of notifying family is still underway.
