Prep boy’s soccer: Duluth East, Hermantown win regular season finales

Both the Duluth East and Hermantown boy’s soccer teams came out victorious in their regular season finales on Thursday.

Duluth East handled Superior winning 8-2 to close out their regular season 14-1-1. Eight different Greyhounds scored during the big win with David Rutka getting things going just 13 seconds into the game.

Scoring two second half goals Hermantown shut out Duluth Denfeld 2-0 to finish with a 8-6-2 record. Dylan Onofreychuk and Ely Young score for the Hawks.

Playoffs begin next week with section seeds to be finalized over the weekend.
