In Prep Girls Hockey action Saturday Cloquet Esko-Carlton was up against the Orono Spartans.
Kailey Niccum got the Spartans on the board in the first period.
As the Lumberjacks fell 4-1
The Duluth Northern Stars took on Edina in an afternoon match.
After being down 1-0 in the first, Duluth would tie it on their first shot of the second.
Ultimately the Hornets were to hot to handle as they dropped this one 8-1.
Across the way Proctor/Hermantown went toe to toe against the South St. Paul Packers.
Reese Heizman opened the scoring on the game.
Leading Proctor/Hermantown to a 4-1 win.
