Prep Soccer: Duluth East opens season with shutout win, Denfeld falls to Hill-Murray

In prep boys soccer on Saturday, Duluth East shutout Forest Lake to win their season opener, while Duluth Denfeld fell to Hill-Murray.
Duluth East downed Forest Lake 3-0. The Greyhounds scored all three goals in the first half. Kai Hoffman scored off of a penalty kick, then Amma Okoro went on to score twice.
The Greyhounds (1-0) are next set to host Mounds View Tuesday at 2pm.
Duluth Denfeld suffered a 4-0 loss to Hill-Murray.
The Hunters (0-2) are back in action Thursday visiting Duluth Marshall for their road opener. Kickoff is set for 4:30pm.
