Prep Soccer: Esko girls shut out Hibbing/Chisholm, Grand Rapids boys improve to 4-0

In prep soccer on Tuesday, the Esko girls shut out Hibbing/Chisholm spoiling their season opener, while the Grand Rapids boys downed Bemidji in a big road win.
Esko defeated Hibbing/Chisholm 4-0 in Esko. Emily Rengo scored first at the 54th minute in the second half. Avery Kuklinski, Sophia Iallonardo, and Jordyn Randa also contributed a goal each.
The Eskomos (2-1) is back in action Saturday hosting Spectrum.
Hibbing goaltender Aella White tallied 11 saves. The Bluejackets (0-1) are set to host Hermantown on Thursday for their home opener.
In Bemidji, the Grand Rapids boys held on to defeat the Lumberjacks 3-2. With the win the Thunderhawks improve to 4-0.

Hayden DeMars and Enrico Rolle scored in the first half for Rapids. Then tied 2-2 Ian Anderson put away the game winner late in the second.
Grand Rapids (4-0) will visit Duluth Denfeld Thursday at 6pm.
