Prep Soccer: No. 9 Duluth East boys extend win streak, Cloquet-Carlton tops Grand Rapids

In prep soccer on Tuesday, the Duluth East boy’s continued their hot streak while the Cloquet-Carlton girl’s picked up a close win over Grand Rapids.
Ninth ranked Duluth East held off Duluth Marshall to win 2-1 on the road. Grady Downs scored both goals for the Greyhounds, while Coleman Cowell netted the sole goal for the Hilltoppers.
With the win the Greyhounds extended their unbeaten streak to 10 while improving to 11-1-1 overall.
On the girls pitch, Sadie Senich scored on a penalty kick in the second half to lift Cloquet-Carlton to a 1-0 victory over Grand Rapids at home.
The Lumberjacks now sit 9-2 on the season.
