Red Flag Warning issued for multiple Northland Counties due to fire concerns

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for multiple Northland Counties, due to critical fire weather concerns.

It includes: Aitkin, Beltrami, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Lake of the Woods and St. Louis Counties.

It will last from 1:00 to 6:00pm.

During the Red Flag Warning, people are asked not to burn anything and to check any burning done recently to ensure the fire is out.
