Seven more UMD women’s hockey seniors to return for 5th season

Seven more pieces of the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team will return next season.
The five sernior forwards and two defensemen have accepted their additional year of eligibility granted by the NCAA during to the pandemic.
The forwards include Patty Kazmaier finalist Gabbie Hughes, Naomi Rogge, Anneke Linser, Kylie Hanley, and Taylor Anderson. Returning rom the defensive side will be Maggie Flaherty and Ashton Bell, who centralized with Team Canada last season winning a gold medal in Beijing.
This comes a month after senior netminder Emma Soderberg announced she’d be skating back between UMD’s pipes this winter.
