This holiday season, St. Luke’s Neurosurgery Associates is trying to spread some holiday cheer by adopting five local, single-parent families in need. The team has put up five Christmas trees around their building that they will be donating to these families in mid-December.
The five trees have different Christmas themes which include a nutcracker dream, a snowman’s Christmas, a polar bear’s Christmas, a winter wonderland and a gingerbread village.
To help meet their needs, the neurosurgery team will be giving each family a fully decorated Christmas tree along with presents from wish lists that the families created. Some items requested by families were very simple, such as cleaning supplies, sheets, tires and food for the holidays. St. Luke’s employees will also be making donations to help buy gifts while the trees are on display. The trees will be on display for the public to see through December Ninth.
