The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team was at home hosting MSU Mankato in the WCHA quarterfinals on Friday afternoon.
It was a scoring frenzy in the first period as a total of 5 goals were scored in the frame, MSU taking a 3-2 lead.
From there it was the Naomi Rogge show as she would collect a natural hat trick, in route to a 5-4 UMD win.
They will look to close out the best of three series, Saturday at 2:00 P.M.
