Structure fire at Lake Vermilion’s Life of Riley Resort breaks out

A fire broke out at the Life of Riley Resort on Lake Vermilion early Sunday morning, destroying two buildings.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office states that the fire started in a gazebo around 1:17am, then spread to two adjacent buildings.

There were no injuries reported.

Authorities say the buildings are a total loss.

The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
