Superior softball closes out season in state semifinals

The Superior softball team would see their season come to an end Friday in the Division 1 state semifinals.

After notching their program’s first state tournament win in the quarterfinals Thursday, the fifth seeded Spartans would fall 10-0 in five innings to the undefeated, top-seeded, defending state champions Kaukauna late Friday night in Madison.

Superior finished the 2022 season with a 19-3 overall record.
