There is a new same-day delivery company coming to the Duluth area

Shipt and target have joined together to offer same-day deliver services. Customers can purchase items online at Target.com and get their orders delivered to their doorsteps. Duluth area residents will now be able to get all their current and soon to be holiday groceries. Shopper can also order some of the greatest holiday gifts at their convenience more easily with same-day delivery service around town.

Ashlee Dilley, Target’s store director expressed her excitement about offering shoppers another way to shop for their needs.” It’s a super exciting new opportunity to give our guest one more way to shop. So we know they love shopping target, and now this is just another option for a different way for them to get same-day services and directly to their homes via shipt."

Along with using the app for purchasing groceries and home good items, you can also use the item for your holiday shopping. Shipt can be used to delivery all your black Friday goodies. "We have the option for our guest to shop in whatever way their most comfortable, so we actually offer our black Friday deals for drive up. Order pick up and now shipt as well", said Mrs. Dilley. Shipt does have a yearly membership. It’s $99 a year for free deliver. If you choose not to go that route, you will have to pay $10 for delivery.

Beyond the providing same-day delivery, Shipt is looking adding local contractors to apply for position as shoppers. This new partnership will bring “additional flexible earning opportunities to the community,” said Danielle Schuman, Shipt spokesperson.
