Twin Cities man killed in Lake County motorcycle crash

A Twin Cities man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Lake County on Saturday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 33-year-old Daniel Jay Zenner of St. Paul Park was driving his Harley Davidson FXLRS westbound on Highway 1 near Deep Lake Road around 7:30 when it "laid down on the highway and slid into the trees."
Zenner died on scene.
The patrol says it isn’t known whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department and Forest Lake Law Enforcement assisted the State Patrol on scene.
