UMD alums Stalder, Mrazova to skate in IIHF Women’s World Championship

Two former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey forwards will skate in the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women’s World Championship.
Katerina Mrazova will represent the Czech Republic, while Lara Stalder is joining team Switzerland.
Skating for the Bulldogs from 2013-2018, Mrazova scored 75 points across 117 NCAA games.
In four seasons at UMD (2013-2017), Stalder put up 148 points, was named WCHA Defensive Player of the Year in 2017, and was a Patty Kazmaier Award top-three finalist. In 2014, she won a bronze medal with Switzerland in the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
The IIHF tournament begins on August 20th and runs through August 31st in Calgary, Alberta.
