UMD basketball’s Carson Shanks joins Bucks staff

Carson Shanks is leaving his post as an assistant coach for the UMD men’s basketball team to take a new position with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Shanks will join the 2021 NBA champions as their new Player Development and Video Assistant. He spent the past two seasons as an assistant with the Bulldogs, following his own four year collegiate playing career.
According to his bio, Shanks played three seasons at the University of North Dakota (2014-17) and one season at the Loyola University Chicago before signing a professional contract with the Gzira Athletica Basketball Club in Malta.
