After the tight 31-27 road victory at the University of Mary last weekend, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team is returning to Duluth.

This Saturday they will host Concordia University, St. Paul for the Bulldogs first homecoming game since 2019.

"We are fortunate this week is homecoming week and our program has been built on a tradition of all of us coaches, players, and staff that has come before," said head coach Curt Wiese. "Our expectation week in week out is that we will compete to win and that we believe we will win."

The Bulldogs have controlled this Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North matchup since the two teams first met in 1999. Currently UMD leads the all-time series 10-3 over the Golden Bears.

They last met in September 2018, where UMD earned the commanding 32-3 victory. Kickoff Saturday is set for noon at Malosky Stadium.
