UMD men’s hockey set to play Michigan Tech in NCAA Tournament

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Bulldogs earned the No. 2 seed in the Loveland, Colorado regional.

Their semi-final match will be against the No.3 seed Michigan Tech.

"I expect them to play like a lot of the teams in our league, hard and heavy. Again that’s the beauty of playing in our league we have seen a lot. You know what that’s the nice thing to is that you aren’t shocked by other teams because we have sen a lot of good teams," said head cach Scott Sandelin.

"Good region in Loveland so that will be fun. It is anyones game in the NCAA and we have been here and we know how hard these games are. These guys will be pretty similar they play hard so we got to be ready," added captain Noah Cates.

Puck drop is MArch 24th, at 2:00 p.m, the winner is set to face the victor of Denver against UMass-Lowell for the Regional final.
