UMD softball names Carly Brousek assistant coach

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) softball team have announced the hiring of new assistant coach Carly Brousek.

Brousek will be coming to UMD after spending last season as the assistant coach at UW-Platteville.

She spent the rest of her three-year coaching career at Northwest Missouri State University.

Brousek primaraly worked with hitters last year, helping the team to a batting average of .307.

While also helping four players earn All-Conference recognition.
