UMD track and field hires new assistant coach

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) track and field team has named David Palmer their new assistant coach.
Palmer is joining the Bulldogs squad after spending the last two seasons as a graduate student-athlete at Ohio State University.
The River Falls, Wisconsin native attended Macalester College in St.Paul, completing four years of collegiate track and field.
He holds the school records of the indoor 400m (48.89), 600M (1:21.25), 4X200m, and 4x400m.
