UMD women’s basketball get NSIC win on Friday

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s basketball team was at home Friday night taking on the Minnesota State Mavericks.
The game started as a denfensive battle with the score only reaching 15-4 at the end of the first quarter.
Brooke Olson would then go on a tear putting up 20 points, followed by Taytum Rhodes with 12 points.
As UMD won by the final score of 61-52.
The Bulldogs will be back in action Saturday as they host the Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m.
