UMD women’s hockey beats St. Lawrence
The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Women’s hockey team was in the nations capital Saturday afternoon for the D1 in D.C Tournament.
Their first game of the weekend was against Penn State where they lost 3-2.
On Saturday however it was a different story as UMD faced off agaisnt St. Lawrence.
The Bulldogs where faced with a two goal deficit in the game which they overcame leading to overtime.
In the extra frame Elizabeth Giguere would seal the deal, UMD won by the final score of 4-3.
UMD returns to Duluth on Friday against Ohio State University.
