U.S. Senate Candidate Tom Nelson visits Superior as part of tour of Wisconsin

A U.S. Senate Candidate in Wisconsin made a campaign stop in the Northland over the weekend.

Democrat Tom Nelson visited Twisted Pastries Coffeehouse in Superior to meet members of the public and talk about his campaign.

He shared that some of his priorities are affordable healthcare and manufacturing. Nelson also said he wishes to see the position better represent Wisconsin as a whole.

Nelson previously worked as a county executive in the Fox Valley. He has also worked in the state legislature.

Douglas County is one of 72 counties he will be visiting across the state.
