The University of Wisconsin Superior mens hockey team dropped the puck Friday night against UW-Eau Claire in their home opener.
After giving up the games first 3 goals, Troy MacTavish got the Yellowjackets on the board, he finished with a goal and two shots on net.
The Yellowjackets unfortunetly wouldn’t be able to score again as they fall 5-1 against Eau-Claire.
Across the way on Friday night the College of St. Scholastica Saints (CSS) were taking on the undefeated Augsburg Augies.
After a scoreless first period it was the Augies Fritz Belisle that got the games first goal.
Sam Fuss and Arkhip Ledenkov would score in the third for the Saints, a little to late however as CSS falls 5-2.
