UWS men’s cross country claims 4th UMAC title, women finish 4th

On Saturday the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s cross country team raced to the program’s fourth Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship.
The Yellowjackets scored scoring 36 points at Nemadji Golf Club to claim their first conference title since 2018. Their top finisher was Tyler Finger taking second overall on the eight-kilometer course in 27:02.
Meanwhile the UWS women’s team took fourth place overall in their UMAC meet with 81 points. They were led by Nicole Koski who finished 12th in 25:50.4 to earn All-UMAC Second-Team honors.
Next up both the men and women will race in the NCAA Division III North Regionals set for November 13 at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin.
