After more than 500 days without it, UWS students have experienced the thrill of live performance again.
"There’s just an energy about being able to perform and come back," Director of Choral Activities Michael Fuchs said.
Tuesday night, the music department hosted a Collage Concert at Concordia Lutheran Church in Superior. It included performances from the choir, a brass quintet, piano duets, and a jazz ensemble.
COVID has still been a factor throughout the fall.
"We are still at a point where we need to wear masks indoors," Fuchs said. "So we’re still singing with masks, which creates a challenge, but it’s better than no singing at all."
Future performances can be found on the UWS website.
