Both the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) softball and men’s tennis teams have claimed full possession of their Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular season titles for the first times in each of their programs’ histories.
Yellowjackets softball claimed a share of the title over the weekend, then took it outright after Crown College knocked off the University of Northwestern on Monday. UWS will now host the UMAC tournament which begins on Thursday with them hosting the University of Minnesota Morris at 4:30pm.
Men’s tennis served up a perfect 8-0 record in UMAC play this season to earn the top seed in the conference tournament. They’ll face Morris in the semifinals Friday at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.
