The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) Men and Women soccer teams each competed in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) tournament championships.
The women squad faced off against Northwestern Saturday afternoon.
Anna Schussman led the way for the Yellowjackets , scoring 2 goals in route to a 3-2 win.
This marks the first time in team history that they will compete in the NCAA tournament.
On the mens side of the pitch they hosted Bethany Lutheran on Saturday evening.
The game was a back and forth affair, which headed to overtime in a 1-1 tie.
It didn’t take long however to find a winner as just 10 seconds into the extra frame Josh Bellamy scored.
UWS finished off Bethany Lutheran by the final of 2-1, marking the teams 5th straight UMAC title.
