UWS women skate past CSS in road opener

The College of Saint Scholastica (CSS) Womens hockey team dropped the puck on their season opener Tuesday night against the Yellowjackets from the University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS).

Tessa Jorde of UWS got the action started with a goal just 59 seconds into the first period, followed up by a Lauryn Hull CSS tally.

With the score tied 2-2 in the second period it was a powerplay goal by Yellowjackets Emma Booth that sealed the deal.

As UWS skates to a victory over the Saints, by the final score of 3-2.
