What to see at the Duluth Boat, Sport, Travel, and RV Show

The Duluth Boat, Sport, Travel, and RV Show is going on at the DECC through Sunday.

There are the traditional flashy boats, fancy RVs, and up-to-date tech gear. And there are booths to check out travel opportunities around the Northland and around the world.

Erin Wiltzius and Lindsay Barnes are there representing Heartwood Resort and Conference Center in Trego, Wis.

"Heartwood is just a very comfy, cozy place that everybody is kind. And there’s so much to do. We could swim, we could go bike riding, we could go kayaking, we can go rowing, fishing," Elena Wiltzius said.

For many, the fancy fishing boats and gear is the draw. But others will enjoy the "Wild World of Animals" show.

"You’re going to see stuff that you don’t know what it is. You’re going to see stuff that you’re like, ‘Oh, I love that!’" Grant Kemmerer said. "We’re going to cover a lot. We’re going to learn the importance of all animals. That’s kind of one of the cornerstones of the presentation. And you’ve got to come see it. It’s arthropods, reptiles, birds, mammals."

Kemmerer narrates multiple shows a day.

There is also a Youth Village for kids to try their hand at archery and modified rifle shooting.
