The Minnesota Whitecaps are welcoming a third former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey captain for the 2022-2023 season.
On Wednesday they re-signed forward Ashleigh Brykaliuk to a two-year contract.
The 2017 UMD graduate, also a former women’s hockey assistant coach, skated her rookie Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) season with the Whitecaps last year. She closed out the year posting 14 points in 20 games, finishing second on the team in assists with 11.
She joins fellow former Bulldogs Sidney Morin and Sydney Brodt in returning to Minnesota.
