Rafe Carlson has released his brand new single out of Nashville, ‘Never Look Back’.
With a fresh, blues/rock-driven take on modern country, Rafe’s new single features a groovy hook, epic guitar work, and a powerful, high-octane chorus.
Never Look Back checks all the boxes of a country hit- catchy chorus, relatable lyrics, and flawless production, while bringing with it a heavy dose of edginess, and a groove that is reminiscent of some rock and blues from the 1970’s.
Rafe got his start playing bars and clubs around Duluth, before his music garnered Nashville attention, providing him the opportunity to write new music with some of the best in Music City, and record a full-length LP at Sound Stage Studios on Music Row.
Never Look Back has been a staple of Rafe’s live shows, as many fans know, and the band has played it at countless festivals, events, and opening for acts like Jon Pardi, Trace Adkins, Sawyer Brown, Chris Janson and more. “We haven’t even had the chance to put this song out,” says Rafe, “and we’ve been watching the front few rows of people sing along to it at our shows, so we decided it’s time to release it out into the world.”
