Armed robbery suspect arrested
Duluth Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in the area of 1st Avenue East and 4th Street early this morning.
A cab driver reported picking up 19-year-old Duluth resident Jaquiel Ogima, who allegedly demanded money from him while holding a gun. The driver reported giving Ogima money and that Ogima fled the scene.
Duluth police say they located Ogima Thursday afternoon just before 4:00 in the 100 block of East 3rd St and arrested without incident.
Ogima was booked at the Saint Louis County Jail on an arrest warrant for 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery, Threats of Violence, and 2nd Degree Assault charges. Police say a firearm was also located and seized during the execution of a search warrant.
