Justin Liles: Beautiful weather heading our way
Clearing conditions across the Northland will bring sunny skies for most into the weekend. Tonight, will be clear and wind will be rather light. Winds on Friday will be less than 10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph. Saturday will have similar wind speeds but with gusts up to 20 mph. This whole-time frame will see winds off the lake so cooler conditions are likely near the lake. Sunday will introduce some rain showers into the area. Near critical fire weather conditions are possible on Sunday in far northern Minnesota with winds up to 30 mph will coincide. This rain looks to stick around through the beginning of next week. It doesn’t look the greatest for seeing the eclipse Monday. However, temperatures look to stay in the 50s all week with 60s possible by the end of the week.
