Justin Liles: Drier air coming back
[anvplayer video=”5180326″ station=”998130″]
Drier conditions will continue tonight heading into tomorrow. Wednesday and Thursday look to be mostly dry at this point, with widespread dew points in the 30s. This will lead to relative humidity’s of 15-30% or less with high temperatures in the 70s, which could lead to some near-critical fire weather on either day. Of the two, Wednesday will be the driest day.
A northeast wind will also keep lakeshore areas cooler, in the 50s and 60s, though this is a fairly normal temperature range for our lake shore towns this time of year. Temperatures will warm up slowly through the week. Friday will be the warmest day through the weekend. With warmer and breezier Friday some stronger storms may develop late Friday afternoon into Friday evening. Sunday will be the best and calmest part of our weekend. Sunshine and drier conditions stick around for the star of the work week.
