We sure started off the week on a warm note with temperatures well above average. Many of saw daytime highs reach the low to mid 60s. Clouds did increase by the end of the day and so did the winds. Scattered showers will continue overnight around the region. As the sun comes up Tuesday morning, we will still be looking at overcast skies with occasional rain drops.

Winds will start out of the west before turning to the east around noon or shortly thereafter. This wind shift will drop the temperatures quickly for shoreline communities, especially canal park. It is a good idea to bring a jacket with you if going to be in canal park. There is even a chance of light snow falling around midday.

Wednesday will usher in more sunshine but due to winds coming in off the lake, communities by the big lake will see another cooler day. The nicest day will be Thursday as many of us climb back into the 60s. Some thunderstorms return Friday. The concern will be northern Wisconsin. No severe storms are likely, but rain will likely last through the weekend.
