Spirit mountain’s ski hills may be closed, but there’s plenty of action up there as snowmobilers from across the world come to compete at the highest level.

The AMSOIL Snocross National marks the end of the 2024-2025 AMSOIL Championship series. The track features tight turns, gorgeous views of the lake, and provides quite the setting for taking home some hardware. Despite the rain prior to its beginning, the course is still in good shape.

“It’s turning out to be a very technical track because of the bumps and the holes that are forming out there between races. All in all, this track is great. The rain last night put a damper on the racing. It did not hurt the track at all. We have plenty of snow to go racing,” said Jeff Fischer, an announcer for the event.

The action will run until the mid-afternoon of Sunday, April 6.
