Aviation and Autographs takes over the park

The Duluth Airshow partnered with Downtown Duluth’s “Movies in the Park” to host “Aviators & Autographs” prior to the airshow over the weekend. The free event allowed guests to meet and greet with airshow performers, including members of the United States Navy Blue Angels. Attendees could also watch a program that highlighted the performers and their accomplishments.

Blue Angel #3 Lieutenant Amanda Lee was in attendance prior to her historic performance as the first female demonstration pilot to fly with the Blue Angels. Lee attended UMD prior to joining the US Navy.

The evening wrapped up Movies in the Park’s presentation of Top Gun: Maverick. The Duluth Airshow will be on July 15 and July 16.
