Benedictine Living Community-Duluth hosts live Nativity scene
Volunteer staff and community members were joined by live animals, including a camel, to offer a live Nativity scene at Benedictine Living Community-Duluth.
Benedictine Living Community-Duluth hosted a live Nativity scene on Tuesday, December 3. The scene feature volunteer staff, community members, and live animals.
“This event truly lifts up both the ‘Living’ and ‘Community’ aspects of our identity as the Benedictine Living Community,” shaid Christine Sabol, Spiritual Care Director. “With participation of residents, staff, and volunteers from greater Duluth, the Live Nativity invites us to experience–in real time–the hope, joy and wonder of the Holy One present in our midst. This is the healing message of the Christmas story.”
This was the second year that Benedictine Living Community-Duluth has hosted a live Nativity.
