Chick-fil-A Duluth location opens for business

Duluth Chick-fil-A opens its doors

Duluthians have a new option for fast food as their newest location opened in Duluth on November 14.

Hungry customers waited outside the door well before the restaurants official opening at 6:30 a.m.

Located at 1530 Miller Trunk Highway, the restaurant is the first franchise to open in Northern Minnesota. It will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. All Chick-fil-A locations are closed on Sundays.

To celebrate the opening of the new location, the company has donated $25,000 to Feeding America, which will be distributed to Second Harvest Northland. Chick-Fil-A says this location will also be participating in the company’s Shared Table program, which donates surplus food from the restaurant to local shelters and nonprofits in the area.

Chick-fil-A Duluth says they’re recognizing 100 local heroes in Duluth, and will offer them entrees for a year.
