Chum celebrates their Golden Gala

Chum is hosted their Golden Gala celebrating their 50th Anniversary on Tuesday evening at the DECC. The event served as a way to bring Chum’s mission and their stories to more people than ever before. Guests were treated to a gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, and more.

“Tonight’s event is going to help us keep all of our programs operating,” said Bradley Zwagerman, Communications and Marketing Director for CHUM. “We’re trying to raise $200,000 and that could do a couple of things. It’s either going to help us keep our shelter open for a little over 100 days, keep operating our Steve O’Neill apartments for six months or keep our food shelves stocked and filled for about three months.”
