Construction on Morris Thomas Road to resume April 15th

St. Louis County Public Works announced they will be continuing work on Morris Thomas Road starting Monday, April 15th. The road will be closed to through traffic between Hutchinson Road and Piedmont Avenue. Motorists will see road signs redirecting them to use Haines Road and Piedmont Avenue.

Property owners will still be able to use the road to get to their homes for the majority of the project and will hear from work crews in advance of any periods when they cannot use the road.

The project includes the reconstruction of Morris Thomas Road, replacement of watermains, a new sidewalk, new curbs and gutters. This is a continuation of the work that began in 2023 that worked on reconstructing the segment between Haines Road and Hutchinson Road.

The closure is expected to continue into September.
