Dan Wilson, Program Director of Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank shares insight on the need for donations to help the fight against food insecurities in the Northland.
Through the compassion and commitment of donors, volunteers, agency partners, board and staff, they take a strategic approach to feeding the hungry of NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank is a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit and is the largest hunger-relief organization in the Northland. Each year they distribute over 7 million pounds of food, or enough food for 5.6 million meals, which feed approximately 44,000 of our Northland neighbors in need.
