Detour on Highway 2 to continue for four weeks

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has a detour in place for a portion of Highway 2. According to MnDOT, westbound and eastbound traffic will be detoured at Highway 194 to Midway Road. MnDOT says the detour is expected to last for four weeks. County Road 46/Saginaw Road will also reopen to the roundabout.
The closure of Highway 2 is to allow crews to remove the bypass at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 194 near the Saginaw Campground. Construction of the final leg of the roundabout will also be done.
