Duluth Police respond to shots fired near Lincoln Park neighborhood

At approximately 3:55 pm on Friday, April 14, Duluth Police Officers responded to the sounds of shots fired. The incident occurred in the area of N 28th Ave W and W 2nd St.

Duluth Police do not believe this is a random act of violence. The two parties involved are reported to know each other. The shots fired today were retaliating from a prior altercation, according to the Duluth Police Department.

There have been no reported injuries. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
