Essentia Health now offering walk-in flu shots

With flu season approaching fast, Essentia Health is encouraging people to start thinking about getting their annual flu shots. Essentia Health pharmacies are now offering walk-in options for people 6 years old and older.

Below are a list of dates and locations you can receive your flu shot:

Twin Ports:

  • Monday, Sept. 25 —9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Hermantown Pharmacy.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 26 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Lakeside Pharmacy.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 27 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Superior Pharmacy.
  • Thursday, Sept. 28 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-West Duluth Pharmacy.
  • Friday, Sept. 29 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Lakewalk Pharmacy.
  • Monday, Oct. 2 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Hermantown Pharmacy.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 3 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Lakeside Pharmacy.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 4 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Superior Pharmacy.
  • Thursday, Oct. 5 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-West Duluth Pharmacy.
  • Friday, Oct. 6 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Duluth 1st Street Pharmacy.
  • Monday, Oct. 9 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Hermantown Pharmacy.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 10 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Lakeside Pharmacy.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 11 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Superior Pharmacy.
  • Thursday, Oct. 12 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-West Duluth Pharmacy.
  • Friday, Oct. 13 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essentia Health-Lakewalk Pharmacy.

Essentia Health reminds visitors to wear short sleeves for easy administration. Flu vaccines are covered by Medicare and most commercial and private insurance plans.
