Harbor House celebrates new home
Harbor House and the City of Superior held a ribbon cutting on Thursday to celebrate Harbor House’s purchase a new property. They were able to do so following a grant of $500,000 from the City of Superior’s State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. The money went towards the initial purchase of the building as well as new renovations for a future shelter.

Harbor House officials note that the investment will not only empower Harbor House to extend essential aid to those in need but will also enhance the overall well-being of the community and foster neighborhood improvement. Harbor House hopes the new facility will offer a safe haven, provide shelter and essential resources to help individuals experiencing homelessness regain stability and work towards sustainable, independent living.
