Lane closures, delays expected on Highway 2 near Floodwood

Drivers can expect lane closures as a pavement project begin on Highway 2 near Floodwood on August 12. According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) the project is “a bituminous mill and overlay of the highway between Highway 200 and County Road 845/Maki Road.” The work is expected to be complete by mid-October.

MnDOT says no work will be done in the Floodwood between Ash Street and Highway 73.
