Lefse fun run hits the road for Safe Haven

The community gathered together to enjoy lefse and hot chocolate while getting a run in at the lefse fun run at the First Luthran Church on Saturday December 14th.

The event is in collaboration between the First Luthran Church and the Duluth Running Company to bring the community together to raise funding for Safe Haven.

“I was just telling my co-worker the culmination of all three of my very favorite things Which is running and lefse and safe haven,” said Carin Skoog the Director of Philanthropy at Safe Haven. “So it’s just an opportunity to bring the community together do something really fun and delicious while supporting a great cause.”

Last year the lefse fun run raised over $5,000 for Safe Haven on lefse sales alone.
